In a time long before those that would worship Gods, was a time where Gods Of Gods, 
The Anunnaki
Ruled all, whose Might and Reach commanded such Power as to wield lesser Gods, known as the Igigu

These lesser Gods too possessed power beyond imagination. However, the Strength, or Mana

they gained from those that they create must be shared with the Anunnaki

In order for the Igigu to gain Mana for themselves and the Anunnaki, a planetary body is bought into existence. 

Igigu possesses the power to manipulate energy and matter, by using the Aegis
focus their Mana

Igigu can shape the very planet with the Aegis

Guardians can be summoned to protect the Sumer

Asteroid strikes can be summoned with enough Mana

As Igigu ascend, their power grow exponentially

Dislodging and dragging a boulder scaring the Sumer

Igigu can also control the Sun

The Sumer are the entities the Igigu breath life into. In return, they furnish the Igigu with Mana through trust and loyalty

It is the purpose of the Igigu to nurture, protect and ensure the Sumer flourish

The Anunnaki bestow a number of LifeRocks to the Igigu

LifeRocks are placed by the Igigu and provide Life Energy to the Sumer, without which they would perish

​Planetary Ascension allows an Igigu to survey all they have created from the Heavens

With insufficient Mana, an Igigu could not ascend and instead would be bound to the surface
