players take control of a single customisable mercenary, and investigate the strange overlapping of realms that has begun to warp the very nature of reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an unofficial text-adventure, based in the <em>Gloomhaven<\/em> universe\u2014more specifically, in Gloomhaven&#8217;s sister city, Demonsgate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following my work writing on&nbsp;<em>Gloomhaven Digital<\/em>, I found myself enamoured with Demonsgate, a new city and region of the world created&nbsp;for the game&#8217;s Guildmaster Mode which I helped worldbuild.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I then decided to create this text adventure&nbsp;<em>Demonsgate<\/em>&nbsp;as a way for myself and others to explore the region as I saw it in my head, taking inspiration from the seminal&nbsp;<em>Fabled Lands<\/em>&nbsp;gamebook series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work is still in a demo stage at the moment, which was used as a university assessment,&nbsp;and I am adding to it when I can.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was written in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inklestudios.com\/ink\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Ink<\/a> narrative coding language, while the web game itself runs through through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/elliotherriman.itch.io\/calico\" class=\"ek-link\">Calico<\/a>, rather than Ink&#8217;s native engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Known Bugs\/Issues<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Options surrounded by X&#8217;s (XLike ThisX) currently have no effect, but are currently being worked on for my next update to the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
