It explores Vivian Sobchack&#8217;s theory of the &#8216;Cinesthetic Subject&#8217; through the horror film <em>A Quiet Place<\/em>, investigating how cinema&#8217;s audio-visual cues can be used to stimulate viewers&#8217; physical senses to (among other things) scare them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that this version does not include screenshots from <em>A Quiet Place<\/em> due to copyright reasons. It also vividly describes horrific, violent and gory scenes: read at your own discretion.
