[Portfolio Addition] Creating Reliable New Year’s Resolutions for Writing

This article explains how to break up big and vague goals like ‘improving my poetry’ or even ‘getting fitter’ into small, clear and managable tasks that slowly build up to your goal. The post explains how to structure these goals into what I call “ladders”, and how to use these ladder structures to slowly yet reliably work up to your goal.

I recently wrote it for the Surrey New Writers Festival‘s social media campaign, which I’m assistant director for this year (2021), and was last year (2020).
